Sandblasting of metals

Blasting or sandblasting are the terms which we use for the process where suitable abrasive material is shot onto a surface of the item being cleaned. This material disturbs and removes namely scale, rust, old coatings, remainders of sand mixtures from castings, fluxes from welded or soldered parts and eventual inorganic impurities on the surface. Sandblasting of surfaces is one of the most efficient and environmentally friendliest means of pretreatment. We roughen the surface by blasting which results in a perfectly prepared substrate and increased usable lifetime of the coating.
